Recurring chores rotate between members automatically, and everyone can say which ones they actually enjoy.
HomeQuest helps flatmates, couples and families split the housework fairly. Everyone sees what is theirs to do, and earns rewards with their points.
Not a task tracker from the office – a quiet helper that thinks the way a household does.
Recurring chores rotate between members automatically, and everyone can say which ones they actually enjoy.
Chores are worth points by effort and length. The weekly goal is the same for everyone – transparently.
Your household sets its own rewards – a shared dinner, a free weekend – to redeem with points.
Something came up? Offer the chore to the others, or ask for a grace day without a penalty.
Your chores show up in your phone's calendar, and you get reminded in time.
Steady work earns stickers – a little game that makes even the dishes more likeable.
From setup to rewards – exactly the way it happens in the app.
Sign in with Google or Apple and give your home a name. Whoever creates it becomes the household admin.
Flatmates join instantly with the 10-digit invite code or by scanning the QR code.
From ready-made templates or as your own. For recurring chores you decide whether one person owns it, it rotates, or anyone can pick it up; one-off chores land in the Instant Pool.
A chore's points come from its length and difficulty. Everyone can mark how much they like or hate it – this becomes a shared price, worth the same to everyone.
Your claimed chores are on the Dashboard: tap the circle to complete one and the points are credited right away. Something came up? Offer it to someone else or ask for a grace day.
The weekly (or monthly) goal is the same for everyone. Falling below 90% of it brings a penalty chore; points above the goal can be redeemed for your household's own rewards.
A short guide to how HomeQuest works day to day.
HomeQuest is a chore app for iOS and Android for flatmates, couples and families. It splits the shared chores fairly, every completed chore earns points, the weekly goal is the same for everyone, and points above the goal can be redeemed for the household's own rewards.
HomeQuest is free to download for iOS and Android.
The creator of the household shares the 10-digit invite code or the QR code. The others sign in with Google or Apple, enter the code or scan the QR code, and become members right away.
Each chore's base points come from its length and difficulty. Members can mark how much they like or hate a chore, and the average becomes a shared price worth the same to everyone. When several people claim a chore they split the points; picking up an overdue, unclaimed chore earns a bonus of +5% per day, up to +30%.
For recurring chores you choose whether one person owns it, it rotates between members, or anyone can claim it. One-off chores go to the Instant Pool, where anyone can pick them up.
If someone ends below 90% of the weekly (or monthly) goal, a penalty chore makes up the difference. If that is not done by its deadline either, the missing points are deducted from their balance. If something comes up, you can offer a chore to someone else for points or ask for a grace day.
Household members add their own rewards, such as a shared dinner or a free weekend. Points earned above the weekly goal can be redeemed for them.
